Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 ripe avocado (mashed)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup oats (blended into flour)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Blend the Ingredients:
- In a food processor, combine the black beans, mashed avocado, maple syrup, cocoa powder, blended oats, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Add Chocolate Chips:
- If using, stir in the vegan chocolate chips.
- Pour and Spread:
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake:
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
- Cool and Serve:
