Vegan Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings (e.g., fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, nut butter, dried fruit)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Cook the Oatmeal:
    • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and the mixture is creamy.
  3. Serve:
    • Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute. Serve in bowls and add your favorite toppings.
