Vegan Burger Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds (mixed with 3 tbsp water, let sit for 5 minutes)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
- Burger buns and your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Add the oats, chopped onion, garlic, flaxseed mixture, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into burger patties (around 4).
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side until they are crispy and browned.
- Serve on burger buns with your favorite toppings.
